Data Security on Cloud Services: Threats and Mitigation

Abstract

We try to examine the state of cloud computing today and the difficulties in protecting data across several cloud services. The rapid increase in the adoption of public and private cloud services by organizations poses a significant security risk for organizations. We examine various security challenges unique to the cloud environment and various mitigation techniques to deal with the threats. Our paper delves into the collaborative aspect of cloud security, highlighting the shared responsibility model between cloud providers and customers.
