Abstract
Data integration and data transformation are two fundamental steps of preprocessing stage. Specifically, data integration can refer to the merging of (i) data from multiple data stores and/or (ii) different types of data generated with different omics technologies. Careful integration can help reduce and avoid redundancies and inconsistencies in the resulting data set.
