Abstract

We present a method of data embedding based on the convolution of message data with a random phase. We review the theory of the method and show how the technique can be used to hide both pictorial and non-pictorial data. Design considerations for the carrier are also presented. Applications of the technique to robust and fragile authentication are also briefly described. We also present an overview of our rotation and scale correction algorithm and synchronization procedure. Finally, we present the algorithms' Stirmark benchmark result.
