Abstract
The anonymous medieval dialogue poem Disputa d'en Buc amb son cavall between Buc and his horse has survived in an otherwise mutilated manuscript in Carpentras (first edition 1877). After an introduction to the history of transmission, the text is translated here into German in a free version. The original Catalan text is included in the appendix.
