Abstract
Summary During a botanical excursion the authors identified plants of Dactylis glomerata L. subsp. slovenica (Dom.) Dom. In a small opening in a wooded area alonside the road going to Monte Matajur about 850 m a.s.l. The area is characterized by calcareous rock and an Ostryo-Fagetum woodlot vegetation. This is the first indication of D. glomerata subsp. slovenica in Italy, present in the Carpatian and other zones of East-Central Europe.
