Abstract
ABSTRACTMeiotic and mitotic metaphase chromosomes of mutant forms N922 and 5KR 33 of Silene latifolia were studied. Our cytological analysis and in situ hybridization provided an opportunity for identification of the two aneuploid monosomic plant forms with 23 chromosomes (mutant form N922) and a tertasomic form (5KR 33) with 26 chromosomes. These mutant forms are the first described until now of Silene species.
