Abstract
Cyclic oxidation of Fe-20Cr-4Al alloys with small amounts of sulfur contained was studied up to 5cycles (1 cycle=18.0ks) at 1573 and 1673K in oxygen. Amounts of spalled oxide of Fe-20Cr-4Al-(35, 53 and 104ppm) S alloys increased after 1-2 cycles and decreased after 4-5 cycles at 1573K. On the other hand, adherence of oxide scales on all of the alloys was improved after each cycle at 1673K.
