Abstract

In this article, we will reveal the concept of cyberbullying as one of the types of bullying, its impact on modern society, outline its scope and legal aspects. Modern society is unthinkable without smartphones and gadgets. information and computer technologies. And rarely do we think about what threats these or those carry. other web resources, Internet sites, which today have become integral attributes of the life of a modern person. The rapid development of communications has created opportunities for instant messaging. Despite borders, beyond state influence and control, this includes not only opportunities for the free exchange of information and ideas, but also negative factors. The problem of security in the Internet takes the main place on the agenda only when there are certain negative consequences from the phenomena realized in the Internet space. One of these newest threats is cyberbullying - mass, usually anonymous harassment and humiliation in social networks of a specific individual. Unlike criticism or threats, in the case of cyberbullying, insults, humiliation and harassment occur not in relation to the specific actions of such a person (even if a specific action became the basis for the start of bullying), but in general, impersonally and generalized, in order to cause maximum psychological damage, deep emotional trauma.
