Abstract

Cutaneous horns are focal, hyperkeratotic, white-to-yellowish conical skin projections resembling animal horns. They generally present as a solitary, asymptomatic lesion and are most commonly confined to the areas of sun exposure affecting the elderly population. The source of origin of cutaneous horns can be an epidermal inclusion cyst, verruca vulgaris, keratoacanthomas, actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. A rare association with malignant transformation was also reported. There are very few case reports of cutaneous horn arising from a psoriatic plaque and hereby we have reported such a rare occurrence of a cutaneous horn arising from a psoriatic plaque.
