Abstract
Currently, China are planning their own big data centers and services in all works of life. So, are there big data in the publishing industry? What data does it have? This article will introduce the current situation in China’s traditional publishing industry in details mainly in three aspects, data types, data size and data utilization. Especially, it is the first time that to analyze the overall data scale of China’s traditional publishing industry over 10 years. Meanwhile, it gives average data volume of per press, published book, periodical and newspaper with analysis.
