Abstract

Objective To investigate the curative effect of capreomycin combined with levofloxacin on retreatment smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods Retreatment smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis patients from January 2014 to January 2015 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups were given 3SEL2PaZ/9EL2Pa treatment, observation group was given capreomycin levofloxacin therapy in addition. The therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared. Results In control group, the 2, 5, 8 months end sputum negative conversion rates were 70.0%, 75.0%, 80.0%, which were significantly lower than the those (85.0%, 90.0%, 92.5%) in the observation group, the differences were significant (P<0.05); In the control group, the cavity closure rate, focus absorption rate were 40.0%, 65.0%, which were significantly lower than those of the observation group (75.0%, 62.5%), the differences were significant (P<0.05); In observation group and control group, the reaction rates were 7.5%, 22.5%, the differences were significant between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusions Capreomycin combined with levofloxacin can promote the negative sputum of retreatment positive pulmonary tuberculosis patients, accelerate cavity closure and focus absorption, and has high security of treatment, so it should be widely applied inclinc. Key words: Capreomycin; Levofloxacin; Tuberculosis; Efficacy
