Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of chemotherapy regimens included levofloxacin and rifapentine on smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods 100 cases of patients with smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis in our hospital from February 2013 to December 2014 were divided into control group and observation group.Patients in observation group were treated with chemotherapy regimens included levofloxacin and rifapentine, and the patients in control group were treated with chemotherapy regimens included streptomycin and rifampin.The clinical symptoms improvement, sputum negative conversion rate and efficient absorption rate of pulmonary tuberculosis pathological changes were compared between two group. Results After treatment, the clinical symptoms improvement, sputum negative conversion rate and efficient absorption rate of pulmonary tuberculosis pathological changes of the observation group were significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The chemotherapy regimens included levofloxacin and rifapentine can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and efficient absorption rate of pulmonary tuberculosis pathological changes, and has low incidence of adverse reactions.
