Abstract

Investigation of the mechanisms of transportation through the biological membranes is of interest mainly in biology and medicine. Besides the cognitive value, the aim of such studies is to find new technologies of producing synthetic membranes of desired characteristics to be used in modern methods of medical therapy. The paper reports on the cuprophane membrane permeability to urea studied by very sensitive method of optical interference.
