Abstract
A mucoralean strain, BCRC 10F0317, was isolated from soil collected in Taiwan. According to the morphological characteristics, growth temperature and phylogenetic analysis of ITS1-5.8S rDNA-ITS2 sequence, this strain was identified as Cunninghamella echinulata var. antarctica. It is a new record to the fungal flora of Taiwan. Illustration and description were provided. Differences between C. echinulata and C. septata were compared.
