Abstract

Intercultural education is an extremely complex multi- and interdisciplinary field of knowledge, which has as its fundamental priorities the shaping of the human personality in the sense of understanding, acceptance and personal valorization of cultural, ethnic, religious or racial differences. Within the current European landscape of immigration and continuous change, the fluidity and rhetoric of identity construction requires a citizenship education that can adapt to this dynamic process. We aim to address in this article cultural literacy which includes a set of values and dispositions developed through dialogue and constructive argumentation with people who represent.
