Abstract

The paper is devoted to the analysis of the new book by Alexander Liusy “Russian Literature as a System of Local Texts” (2020) in the context of postmodern philosophical, postcolonial, structural-semiotic and post-semiotic methodologies. The opportunities of using the Liusy’s ideas are shown on the examples of the contemporary mass culture, the innovativeness and rightness of the Liusy’s post-semiotic study of the “local cultural texts” are argued.
