CULTURAL EXCHANGE OR INVASION IN THE WAY OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

The collection of spiritual and material achievement by human along history called culture. The nation cultural exchange naturally continues along history. This exchange is essential for dynamic growth and evolution of human being cultural knowledge and life and advances human society to the path of true happiness. But what barrier on cultural exchange is cultural invasion that is they have intention to influence and overcome their culture on nations’ native culture. The explicit example is the growing dominance of the West on other cultures, specially- Islamic culture- in recent century and importantly after victory of Iran Islamic revolution. The main distinction between cultural invasion and cultural exchange is that in invasion there is no other choice except that political and cultural surrender against attacker and delivery of wealth and economic resources, which is a form of modern slavery. The manifestations of cultural invasion can be divided in two categories, internal and external. Any independent society has duties in this regard that discussed and some strategies are provided to combat against cultural invasion and its differentiation with cultural exchange.
