Abstract

A high school librarian discusses programs and materials designed to present new dimensions and added depth to the development of cultural awareness. The article explores the utilization of satellite dish receivers, cable television, computerized news services, video tapes, slides, laser discs, art reproductions, recordings, periodicals, newspapers, books, realia, lectures and artistic performances to reflect cultural diversity in today's global society.
