Abstract

An efficient synthesis of ferrocene‐containing allenylphosphonates via CuI‐catalyzed coupling reaction of diazophosphonates with ferrocenylacetylenes in the presence of Et3N has been reported. This coupling methodology is applicable to a broad scope of substrates, allowing the synthesis of a range of synthetically valuable ferrocene‐containing trisubstituted allene derivatives in moderate to excellent yields.
