Abstract
Large single crystals of indium borate (InBO 3) were grown by means of the slow cooling method and the top seeded solution growth (TSSG) method with PbO and B 2O 3 as the flux. Crystals of approximately 65mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness and of about 34 g in weight have been obtained. Etch pattern observations and optical transmission and dielectric constant measurements are reported.
