Abstract
High optical quality Tm:La3Ga5SiO14 single crystals with dopant concentration of 1 at. % Tm3+ ions were grown by the Czochralski method. The structure was studied by the X-ray powder diffraction method. The absorption spectrum and fluorescence spectrum of Tm3+:La3Ga5SiO14 crystals were measured at room temperature.
