Crystal and molecular structure of bis(dimethylphenylphosphine)(3,4-diacetyl-4-hexene-2-one-5-olato-C 3,O)platinum(II)

Abstract

The crystal and molecular structure of the first cyclometallated platinum(II) complex of 1,1,2,2-tetraacetylethane {bis(2,4-pentanediones)-3,4-diacetyl-2,4-hexadiene-2,5-diol (H 2-dahd)}, [Pt(dahd-C 3,O)(PMe 2Ph) 2], was determined by X-ray analysis.
