Crossing Borders and Boundaries: Ways of Reading Some Contemporary Asian Australian Women’s Fictions

Abstract

...The writing of Asian Australian (women) writers is at this point being engaged with by, and in relation to, some dynamic currents in Australian Studies; to the new field of Asian Australian Studies; to Asian Studies as well; and to work in neo-Postcolonial Studies—all of this informed by a substantial influence of Gender Studies and other cognate areas including Whiteness Theory.
