Abstract

Using CAPTURE, DEPOSIT and RICODE computer codes, electron-capture and electron-loss cross sections are calculated for Uq+ ions, 1⩽q⩽92, colliding with H2, He, N2, Ne and Ar gaseous targets in the ion energy range of E=1keV/u–10GeV/u. The calculated cross sections are compared with available experimental data and other calculations. The present data are fitted by the 7-order polynomials and the corresponding fitting parameters are given.
