Abstract
Climate change poses a significant threat to agricultural productivity, especially in regions with vulnerable economies such as Pakistan. This research article aims to explore the multifaceted impacts of climate change on crop yields within the country. By analysing historical climate and crop productivity data of 1977-2016 through the ARDL technique, the study identifies trends and patterns that suggest a strong correlation between climate change and fluctuations in crop productivity. Our findings highlight the need for climate-resilient crop development, improved agricultural technology, and the necessity for adaptive agricultural practices and robust policy interventions to reduce the adverse effects of a changing climate on crop productivity Furthermore, the potential of emerging technologies and farming techniques to enhance resilience in crops production, ensuring a crops supply for Pakistan's growing population.
