Abstract
In this commentary, I explore the notion of criticality presented in the three articles in this section of the special issue. I argue that the central concern of critical visualization is to make visible (reveal) the experiences of social groups whose concerns are largely invisible in contemporary discursive environment of landscape and urban planning.
