Abstract
This research article explores the literary masterpiece of Egyptian author Najeeb Mahfouz, with a special focus on his renowned Cairo Trilogy. The aims of the research are to examine the artistic merits and cultural significance of Mahfouz's work within the realm of English literature. The objectives include analyzing the thematic elements, character development, and narrative structure employed by Mahfouz in the Cairo Trilogy. To achieve these aims and objectives, a comprehensive analysis of Mahfouz's trilogy was conducted, incorporating literary criticism, historical context, and textual analysis. Primary and secondary sources were consulted to gather relevant information and insights.
