Abstract
The master pharmacy is responsible for handling personalized medicines, facing specific challenges in the production of semi-solid forms, such as creams and gels, which require strict quality control. The present study evaluated creams compounded in pharmacies in Cascavel-PR, focusing on compliance with the labeling standards established by RDC 67/2007 and the amount of vitamin C present in the products, as indicated on the label. The methodology used for dosing was described by Krambeck (2011). It is concluded that the creams manipulated, according to current labeling legislation, require some adjustments to comply with the standards established by RDC nº 67, of October 8, 2007. The dosage was close to that established on the product label. . Conditions such as storage of Vitamin C or the product containing vitamin C may have altered the results. The results obtained in this study highlight the importance of appropriate storage and handling practices in preserving the effectiveness of cosmetic creams containing vitamin C.
