Abstract
The study considers the necessity to introduce project activities into students’ education process of Core nuclear program system at Tyumen State University. The article studies the problem of organization and implementation of project activities in the process of English learning. The purpose of the research is to study the attitude of students of non-linguistic institutions of Tyumen State University to creative project activities in the process of teaching English. The goals, functions and types of project activities in teaching students are determined. The stages, sequence of actions and requirements for the implementation of creative projects in English are considered. A review of literature devoted to the attempts to apply the project approach in the process of education in different time periods was carried out. The advantages of introducing project activities in the process of learning a foreign language are presented based on the analysis of theoretical and practical data. The main difficulties and errors in the implementation of project activities of students in the learning process of the university are analyzed.
