Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe the specific features of the creative process, its organization, musical notation techniques; the definition of the role of talent and professionalism in the composer’s work; the definition of the essence of the notion of composer thinking and substantiation of the factors of its formation. Creative thinking is the highest form and stage in the development of human thinking. Composer thinking characterizes the creative process of a musician, reflects the foundations of a creative person. Consequently, the study of issues related to creativity, the process of composing is both relevant and well-timed, since the field of research is constantly enriched by the works of psychologists and art historians who offer a deep insight into understanding of the mystery of musical thinking.Research methodology is determined by the works of the psychological area, where attention is paid to the issues of thinking, musical thinking, and works of musicology, which deal with the issues of music and creative process and composer thinking.Results. The creative process, the creation of music is a mysterious phenomenon; therefore, there is a desire to approach a number of important issues that concern many musicians and researchers. The result of the creative process is a musical composition, which must have certain qualities that distinguish it from improvisation. The most prominent impulses of the creative process include idea, emotions, image, events, phenomena, and musical intonations. The basis of the creative act is the gradual and long-term accumulation of knowledge, skills gained from the professional experience. The revealed mental operations are similar to the creativity in various fields of endeavor. The creative process is impossible without an active imagination, which enables to predict the process and the result of creativity. The creative process of a musician, the originality of the musical notation type underlies the principles of composer thinking.Novelty consists in a systematic coverage of the issues of the creative process in connection with the category of composer thinking considered in relation to the general foundations of musical thinking.The practical significance. The main results of this study can be used in the papers that address the problems of creativity, creative thinking and in the work of teachers of musical psychology and composition.
