Abstract
research focuses on analyzing and classifying biomedical articles in the field of neuroscience, with a particular emphasis on scientific articles related to hearing loss. To carry out this task in a more efficient manner, resources as the elimination of stopwords were used. As well, it was implemented the n- gram-based text categorization system along with the use of a domain ontology related with genes, diseases and syndromes, obtaining promising results.
