Abstract

Background and Aims: Numerous studies based on clinical pathology and epidemiology criteria have shown that larger quantity of small-dense LDL (sdLDL) as a result from change in the lipoprotein metabolism is closely associated with higher cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. Objectives: Creation and evaluation of predictive equations for the indirect sdLDL level calculation from basics lipid parameters of lipid profile and determination of hyperLDLsd risk (>35mg/dl) in dyslipidemic patients.
