Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 leads to a variety of problems in society, economy, and institutional dimensions beyond physical problems. This is because COVID-19 is transmitted among people and causes problems, and it is necessary to the collective effort and interest, not personal effort or healing of diseases. In addition, this study aims to identify the role of government trust and the situational recognition of the MZ generation’s attitude toward vaccination in the situation where it is necessary to increase vaccination to form group immunity after the development of a vaccine. The results of the study showed that the higher the level of awareness of the COVID-19 situation, the higher the vaccination intention. In addition, as a result of moderating effect of government trust, people with low situation recognition levels have lower vaccination intention, but those with high government trust have no significant attenuation effect. In addition, the implications and limitations of the research results, and future research directions were discussed.
