Abstract

Objectives: In the Covid-19 situation, we analyze dental hygiene students' practice of infection control to prepare preventive measures and cope with the spread of infectious diseases in the future. Methods: This study were 241 students from four universities who conducted clinical practice at university hospitals, dental hospitals and clinics in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do from June 20 to August 20, 2022. Results: Most of the dental infection control in practice institutions was managed using alcohol sponges and surface disinfectants, but in dental hospitals, disposable covers were often used. Conclusions: Standardized guidelines and regulations for dental infection control should be prepared by analyzing the causes of poor infection control.
