Abstract

Objectives: By mixing ZnO by concentration, the optimal concentration ratio of RMGIC with various concentration ratios is studied, mechanical properties of RMGIC are improved, and antibacterial evaluation is performed. Methods: RMGIC was used. After calculating the generated ZnO by weight and adding 0%, 1%, 2%, and 4%, specimens for various mechanical and antibacterial evaluations were produced. Results: As the mixing amount of ZnO increased, the curing time increased, and Vickers hardness and compressive strength increased in LC@ZnO 2%. In addition, as the mixing amount of ZnO increased, the number of colonies decreased. Conclusions: These results suggest that ZnO mixing of RMGIC increases and antimicrobial effects increase.
