Abstract
The cover picture displays two different copolymerizations of ε‐caprolactone (CL) with 1,3‐dioxolane (DO) catalyzed by rare earth triflates. The panda represents Janus polymerization which yields multiblock copolymers of CL and DO, while the red panda represents cationic copolymerization which yields random copolymers. Janus polymerization combines anionic and cationic polymerizations on the two ends of a single propagating chain, followed by a self‐triggered polycondensation of anionic and cationic centers. The mechanism of copolymerization is determined by the element of rare earth in catalyst and the presence or absence of an epoxide initiator. More details are given in the article by Ling et al. on page 705—712. image
