Abstract

Temperature-controlled nanoelectrospray ionization explores the thermodynamics of hybrid quadruplex–duplex oligonucleotide assemblies comprising multiple domains and brings insight into mutual domain interaction. As described by Renato Zenobi et al. in their Research Article on page 15390, thermal denaturation experiments were conducted to reveal unfolding intermediates and changes in the thermodynamics of DNA complexes depending on the number of domains and their position in a single MS experiment.
