Abstract
The cover image, prepared by Yuhao Liu, Ying Lin, Liming Wang, and Yaying Xu, shows a silicone prepolymer prepared to modify a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (CEP) with uniformly distributed solid dispersion phases. The toughness, hydrophobicity, and hydrophobic transfer properties of the CEP were simultaneously improved. This method has potential for applications in outdoor insulation or other waterproof and humidity fields. The proposed mechanism offers a guide on how to design hydrophobic CEP materials.
