Abstract

The Cover Feature depicts titanium nitride films on titanium foam substrates, which serve as electrodes for high-power supercapacitors. These electrodes exhibit excellent cycling stability and rate capability due to the combination of their microstructure, composition and 3D nature. The device assembled with such electrodes is capable of scan rates up to 100 V s−1. These features may enable a new class of high-power supercapacitors and impact the state of the art. More information can be found in the Article by T. Zheng et al on page 2199 in Issue 16, 2018 (DOI: 10.1002/celc.201800467).
