Abstract

Potassium fluoride (KF) as a nucleophilic fluorinating reagent with various promoters or catalysts has received immense popularity in the last decade owing to low cost, easy availability, high reactivity, high selectivity, mild reaction conditions, and high functional group tolerance towards various functional groups. This review delineates all the recent developments made in the fluorination of different compounds such as aliphatic, aromatic, and heteroatomic using KF as a nucleophilic fluorinating agent. More information can be found in the Review by Rama Kanwar Khangarot et al.
