Abstract
From the past to the present, open green spaces have been urban gaps that help people to realize many activities. Towards the end of 2019, a pandemic process started in Wuhan city in Hubei Province of China and affected the whole world in a short time. The pandemic process has also created many spatial changes in addition to the health problems it caused people to experience. New preferences and new demands have also initiated new venue organizations. Within the scope of this study, the pandemic and spatial preference changes in the city of Trabzon were examined. The examination was carried out with a participant group of 100 people. The spatial preferences of the participant group before and after the pandemic and their outdoor activity preferences were asked. The data obtained as a result of the study will form a basis data on how people can have preferences in future studies. The issue of how there are potential places to meet the needs of people in possible disaster / epidemic / pandemic situations was discussed within the scope of the study.
