Abstract

The observations of Yen, Lau and Kagiwada suggest that surface skiming bulk waves (SSBW) are strongly coupled by multistrip couplers (MSC) on lithium tantalate. We report results of a detailed investigation of MSC performance as a function of frequency and number of coupling strips. results, while supporting strong coupling, show that 100% power transfer is not achieved.
