Abstract

Abstract A cooperative trial with Sigco Research was established 6 May on a dry clay soil near Breckenridge, MN. Plots were planted in six 38.1 cm rows, 6.10 m in length, using a cone type 6-row planter. The trial was arranged in a randomized complete block design, replicated 4 times. All granular treatments were applied at planting. Foliars were broadcast applied in 30.4 liters/ha material at 2.8 kg/cm2 pressure using a hand held C02 sprayer. Multiple foliar applications were made at 4 leaf, late prebloom, and early postbloom (1X = early post bloom, 2 X = late pre and early post bloom, and 3 X = all three plant stages).
