Abstract
Cosmology deals with the creation and evolution of the Universe. Detailed measurement of the anisotropy of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) is the most important unrealized goal in observational cosmology. Mapping these CMB anisotropies precisely will provide decisive and extraordinarily exciting measurements of the geometry, constitution, and early history of the universe. Future CMB anisotropy observations allow a stringent test of cosmological models and a precision determination of cosmological parameters of its standard model.
