In the great majority of cases it is a relatively benign, self-limited disease, but in a very small minority it pursues an inexorable downhill course and presents a tremendous therapeutic problem.Because of the common clinical observation that as long as patients with hepatitis are able to eat they have a favorable prognosis, it occurred to us several years ago that cortisone, with its often dramatic effect on the appetite,...Bibliography1.
