Corrigendum to "Weak Sequential Denseness in Banach Spaces"

Abstract

In [2] the proof of the theorem for (a) => (b) is incorrect. For separable Banach spaces X, the implication (a) =* (b) is given in [3]. The nonseparable case may be reduced to the separable case based on the fact that if S is a subset of a Banach space X and x E SW, then S has a countable subset So with x E SO' (Part a, Theorem 8.12.4, p. 549 of [1]). Hence the Theorem of this paper remains correct. I wish to thank Alfred D. Andrew for this correction.
