Abstract
In the paper “Wind waves in the Black Sea: results of a hindcast study” by V. S. Arkhipkin et al. (Nat. Hazards Earth Syst. Sci., 14, 2883–2897, 2014) the following error occured: in the acknowledgements the contract number “G34.31.0007” was written incorrectly in that “11.” was missing. The sentence should be “This study was carried out in the Natural Risk Assessment Laboratory (NRAL) of Lomonosov Moscow State University under contract no. 11.G34.31.0007.”
