Abstract

Correlations for skin friction, heat and mass transfer coefficients on the surfaces of blunt-edged flat plates have been established, based on modified boundary layer theories which take account of the influence of separation and reattachment flows. The calculated velocity profiles, skin friction, heat and mass transfer coefficients show good agreement with the data measured by previous authors.
