Abstract

Objective To investigate the correlation of estradiol, serum uric levels with coronary heart disease(CHD) in postmenopausal female under 60 years old,and to analyze the pathogenic mechanism. Methods Seventy patients with CHD in postmenopausal female under 60 years old and 60 cases of non-CHD patients in postmenopausal female under 60 years old.The serum estradiol(E2),testosterone(T),progesterone(P),serum uric acid levels(SUA)and lipids were detected. Results Compared with non-CHD group, serum estradiol(E2) levels were significantly lower and serum uric acid levels were significantly higher in the CHD group(P <0.05).The correlated analysis showed that serum uric acid levels was negative correlated with serum E2 levels. Conclusions Low serum estradiol levels is an independent risk factor for postmenopausal female under 60 years old,and has impact on blood uric acid level in women with coronary heart disease. Key words: Coronary heart disease; Female; Estradiol; Serum uric acid
