Abstract
Objective To detect the serum level of lipoprotein associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) and super sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), to analyze and discuss the effect of Lp-PLA2 and hs-CRP on early nephropathy in patients with T2DM. Methods The simple T2DM group, T2DM combined with early nephropathy group and healthy control group was set up.The height, weight, blood pressure, blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), blood lipids, liver function, renal function, urinary albumin, Lp-PLA2, hs-CRP of the three groups were detected. Then all of the data were statistically analyzed. Results Lp-PLA2, hs-CRP in the T2DM combined with early nephropathy group were significantly higher than those in the simple T2DM group and the control group, the differences were significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The combined detection of Lp-PLA2 and hs-CRP can be used as risk factors for early diabetic nephropathy, and have a certain value for predicting the occurrence of early diabetic nephropathy. Key words: Type 2 diabetic; Early diabetic nephropathy; Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2; High-sensitivity C-reactive protein
